Each edition of PROGRAMME MONTHLY  & FOOTBALL COLLECTABLE contains articles, features and advertisements (buying, selling and exchanging) the whole range of football memorabilia.

EXAMPLES OF COLLECTABLE FOOTBALL
MEMORABILIA INCLUDE  ...

MATCHDAY PROGRAMMES - for a sub-division of the various  categories of programmes which may be collected, we recommend the booklet WHAT SHOULD I COLLECT

TEAMSHEETS - issued for the  press and VIP's, are an interesting addition to the match programme in any  collection

MATCH TICKETS - there is a growing market for collections of match tickets ; the majority being the retained portion of the ticket after use ; but rarer and more valuable items are complete, unused tickets.

FOOTBALL MAGAZINES - monthly or weekly, general or club-specific, they are largely a post-war phenomenon, although Football was  widely covered in some excellent pre-war Sports magazines.

CLUB HANDBOOKS - a valuable source of contemporary information on the club.

FOOTBALL BOOKS - another growth area in collecting, with a vast range of published items  over many decades.

POSTERS - a fairly specialised market, due to the  difficult in storing and display them to full advantage.

POSTCARDS -  collecting postcards is a mature and well developed trade, with many football fans taking an interest in postcards of a football nature.

PHOTOGRAPHS -  another growing area of interest, as collectors snap up photographs of match  action, individual players and team groups.

AUTOGRAPHS - an age-old  favourite, and autographs either in albums or on individual items enhance the value of football memorabilia

SCRAPBOOKS - collections of newspapers and magazine cuttings are a fascinating account of football during the period of their collection, and are sought after my many football collectors and historians

FOOTBALL JERSEYS - available in limited numbers, and therefore expensive in comparison to other football collectables.

CAPS, TROPHIES,  MEDALS - also very rare and valuable, and invariably brought to the market at postal auctions or public auctions.

MISCELLANEOUS - almost anything with a football theme may be considered collectable ; if not now, then certainly in the future.

advertisments - advice - awards - buying back issues - booklets - binders
black list - collectables - collecting football  programmes
collectors club - famous programme covers - fair dates - football history
